The First Congregational Church of Dalton welcomes you and your family to its Church School, Program. Any Child from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade is welcome to attend our PandaMania, God is wild about us program.

We now have three Worship Services at 8:00 AM, 9:15 AM and 10:30 AM. The second service is primarily for the Children 3 years through 12th Grade and their parents. These parents should bring these Children to the Fellowship Hall for the second Service.  We have a Nursery available for the second and third Services. Nursery age children may be brought to the nursery at 9:00 AM and 10:15 AM  At the end of the Studio Sessions, children will be dismissed to their classes with their teachers. We ask that children in the nursery be picked up promptly after the service. Three - four year old’s through 8th grade will be dismissed at 10:20 PM.  Parents of three year old through first grade are asked to pick up their child from their classroom. Church School begins on the second Sunday in September with a Kick-Off Breakfast and ends with a Children's Sunday Celebration on the second Sunday in June.  Registration takes place on Kick-Off Sunday, but new members may register their child any Sunday during the Church School year.

Our curriculum provides well-rounded, activity based lessons. We use PandaMania curriculum and our teachers and students learn amazing amounts of information each week. This curriculum also lends itself to holiday recognition and mission projects, as it ties everyday life into the Bible lessons.

The C.E. program supports many mission projects that run throughout the year such as School Kits, which sends supplies to needy countries, and The Kitten Tree, which collects warm articles of clothing during the winter months for distribution throughout our county. Each year we also arrange for a larger Lenten Mission Project to take place within our church school. Our 9th - 12th grades participate in World Vision, 30 hour famine, which is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families and their communities.

Children and Communion -  We are an "Open Church."  All baptized Christians are invited to take Communion, including children.  The cups contain grape juice.  If parents wish their child to receive communion each month, they are welcome to have their child remain in the service.  We ask that you inform the child's teacher for attendance purposes.  Children learn about the meaning of Communion and how to receive it in Studio Rotations.
